Blackjack and Skype

Hi,
I am thinking of getting the Blackjack but would like it to run Skype as well. I see from other sites that there have been problems with getting full function of skype (out of the Blackjack), even with the smartphone edition of Skype.
Has anyone got Skype to run well on the Blackjack?
I am using the 8125, with a $20/month Media unlimited plan so I can use IE occasionally. Hope to get a Blackjack from Cingular store full price (not eligible for upgrade) without a change to the DATA plan- what are my chances?
