Quick question about BJ and Mediamax plan

Hey everyone,

I was lucky enough to grab one of the few Compusa Blackjacks with the 79.99 promotion, and I set it up with a two-year contract and no media plan.

Obviously, after having read all the posts in these forums, I would rather avoid the pricey 49.99 PDA plan and get the Mediamax 200 plan instead.

So, what would be the best way to go about it? Call cingular? Add it online?

What is the safest way to do it? I just want to avoid Cingular sticking me the PDA plan.

Do it online, there is no need to deal with the hassle you might get from a customer service agent.

media max? is that similar to the data plan? is it an actual broswer..or just scores and weather?

Media Max is the name of a data plan. You can use the regular built in web browser to access all of the internet, any page with it

So, just get back in topic, if I add the mediamax 200 plan online, do I have to specify I have a Blackjack? And if so, will Cingular somehow know I have the 'wrong' plan for this phone and force me to upgrade?

Also, if i do add the mediamax plan successfully, is there any way to make sure my blackjack has all its features enabled?
