Im trying to delete my stock ringtones.....on my SLVR. Im using P2K MAN but is there anything i ought know or do.....?? i dont wanna delete something the phone needs

I see you have a slvr. So just dont delete anything outside /c/mobile/audio/. Even inside be careful to delete only the ringtones you want.

Dont worry, deleting ringtones has never killed a phone .

Just to be safe, why don't you just change the attribute, and then safely delete them from your phone. This way you won't accidently delete one that is being used as a ringer or in one of the profiles.

Either way, it's no big deal. If a few ringers get messed up, you can delete both .db files and your phone will rebuild the Database.

Basicaly safe modding by any means.

Wait this could help me... I deleted quite a few ringtones and they don't show up under "Sounds" but when I set an alarm or ringer they are in there. Delete my db files and it will fix this?

Yup.......i think that should fix it.

Yes, khizerk was right.

If you delete both of the .db files and restart your phone, the database will be rebuilt (and corrected).
