need help. tro 700p wont turn on after a while

well, after a couple of mitunes of use my tro 700p goes into the standby mode, and teh screen turns black. this is normall, but what isn't is that when i try to power it back on for use, by hitting the red power button, nothing happens, and my tro is still "dead". the only way to get around this for me, is to take out the battery and but it back in, inorder for the treo to restart.

does any one else have this problem, and know a solution so my treo wont stop doing this? thanks.

same problem here, but only happens on mine after being on the charger overnight, in the morning it shows the same symptoms as yours, black screen and will not power on.

Curious to know if it may be a software issue causing a conflict.

BTW have you called *2 recently and gotten some kind of update while on the line with customer service?
