Treo 650 screen stays on

My Treo 650 has developed a problem where after a call is terminated the screen remains on until it reaches the 3 minute timeout I have set, or I manually turn it off, whereas it used to turn itself off after a few seconds. What has changed and how do I correct it? Thanks!!

Ummm.... set it to turn off sooner? It's not actually supposed to turn off right after a phone call.

Ummm, I have done that to no avail. When the phone was new, I set it to a three minute screen timeout. The screen would still go out after hanging up within a few seconds afterward.
