I posted on MGMAPS forum about using a BT receiver, 700p and MGMaps along with Google Maps, if it will work.
Here is my post, then the admins response. Please tell me if the 700p can do this:

Me: "This seems like an amazing application. However, before I go out and buy a BT GPS Receiver, I would like to know if it will work with the following:
I have the Treo 700p with Sprint, unlimited web
If I buy this BT GPS Receiver, will this program, along with Google Maps for Mobile, work?

Here is the link to the BT GPS Receiver:

Response from admin:
"As for BT GPS support, MGMaps v1.28 (the current "main" version) does not support bluetooth on Palm. Version 1.30 (the "beta" version) can connect to a GPS device using a serial port - if the Treo has the ability to create a virtual port for a bluetooth GPS then it should work fine. Unfortunately I'm unable to give you an exact answer whether it will work or not, maybe other Treo users can test mgmaps and post their opinions here.
