Treo 750 ISSUES

Ok, 6 days with my new Treo 750 and I am having major issues. If I plug in the power cord, the sound goes bye-bye. Nothing, it slips into no notification mode. Does not matter if I play with the mute button. Nothing, no vibration, nothing. Same thing happens with my bluetooth headset. Once I drop the headset, no sound, nothing. The only thing that brings sound back is a soft reset. Anyone having the same issues? If so, is there a fix? I can't afford to miss calls, this 750 maybe going back Tuesday. Too bad I just sold my E61, I may try another one.

The only app that I have installed since I bought is Opera.

Is anyone else having a problem opening "Sounds and Notifications" on their Cingular Treo 750? When I click on it, it nevers opens, and my Treo gets REALLY slow, forcing me to do a soft reset.

I've wiped and reinstalled my device dozens of times trying to find the root of this problem and i can't - it keeps coming back. I've been able to reproduce this on 3 different Treo 750's.

I had the same problem but when I did a hard reset the problem was fixed.

I just realized this morning I have the sme powercord issue with missed calls. Has anyone fixed this problem or is it a device wide bug? It seems crazy that when the phone is charging the ringer goes off.

ok,here is the latest with my 750. I am now dropping calls like crazy, mainly when on speaker. Is there any way to remove the HSDPA hack? I have deleted the files but am still getting fast speeds. I may do a hard reset if all else fails. I also went into Cingy Corp and told them about not being able to get through a day on a battery, they are going to replace it for me when they get more in. This phone is not the best, I may have to go back to an E61.

I have had my 750 for 6 days as well. I do not have the problem with the sound not working while it is plugged in nor am I dropping any calls.

What does happen is that when my 750 is plugged in and someone calls I get an error notification that says:

Notifcation Error: Cannot Execute \Windows\SpbTimeNotify.exe

I have unistalled all Spb software I had installed (Weather and SpbTIme) since I could not use my volume keys (Battery indicator would come up instead of Volume control).

Even after unistalling Spb software, I still have the volume control issue. I am going to do a hard reset but I would stay away from any Spb software until they get this fixed.

I have a T-Mobile MDA, WM5, ROM v2.26. I was having the same problem & fixed it by turning off the "automatic change time zone and clock" option in "settings" --> "phone" --> "time zone". I no longer get this error.
