Okay. I have searched the entire Internet (including these boards) for answers on PC data transfer with a USB cable, and there is VERY little about what software is actually compatible with this phone. The phone is really nice, and has some good features, but wow... I can barely find anything about it.

This is the problem:

I have a data cable and drivers off a CD for this phone. When I install the drivers, the phone is detected as an LG USB Modem and LG USB Phone on COM4. So I feel like the drivers are correct. Howerver, Bitpim does not support this phone. It simply will not detect. Now, I can try to force to find my phone by setting it as a phone that is supported, but then I could ruin it if it doesn't work. Has anybody had any luck forcing Bitpim to detect this phone?

I've also tried MOBILedit! and also does not support the AX 355. So no dice there.

Now, I did get QPST to detect it, but I'm not sure how to use the software, and I don't want to kill the phone. Does anybody have any experience with this software?

Lastly, does anyone have any suggestions for USB file transfer with this model? What options do I have? What other software is out there that I can use? (Preferably free).
