ok, not the typical question you would assume from this title.

i just received my "v3r" from a wirefly contract extension/upgrade.

here is what is confusing me:

1. the keyboard has the "music" button instead of the "messaging" button
2. i connect it to my computer and it tells me i have an itunes enabled phone even though i dont have itunes on there
3. the software version is the itunes version and not the non-itunes version

oh yeah, my computer sees the phone as a v3i, and wirefly shipped it to me in a box for an original v3....

the r47a in the SW tells that tis a itunes phone. if it was something differant but had a memory slot and 1.3mp camera then i would just be a v3i with DAP. and tat would never pop up as a itunes v3i

so why is it that itunes isnt on the phone? its not supposed to, but i was under the assumption that the v3r has a different SW and stuff
