I am trying to set up Dopod 838 Pro (which is the same as TyTN) for GPRS access. I managed to get the connection going and it shows Connectivity (for the last xxx minutes). However, when I open Internet Explorer it cannot find any page and complains that the connection is closed (but the connection is still shown as open). Similarly, email connection does not work either. Both of these work when I turn on WiFi. Any suggestions?

As background: the WiFi and Bluetooth are both turned off when I am trying this connection.

How did you set up your GPRS connections ? who is your provider ?
It seems that you havent set it correctly and network doesn't alow connectivity

Yes, I realized that was a problem. After a few more phone calls to Rogers, I finally got the correct info (it was the wrong Access Point Server) and it works now.
