Cingular 8525 screen issue

hey everyone im new to this site but i see you guys get to resolve alot of issues with these phones!! i just bought a cingular 8525 last night and im having a problem every white screen ie the text message screen i go to turns out to be a half red screen its very light and almost can not see it!! i dont know if you guys have any ideas!! if so let me know
