i have a friend who just got a razr v3m from alltel. he also got a 1GB transflash card. he loaded on some mp3s through a media reader he also purchased. when he sticks the memory card into the phone it only displays a few songs that he loaded and not all of them. not sure why its not as i have a motorola e816. i put the memory card in my phone and it shows all of the songs he loaded on the card. not sure why he cant see all the music. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

cant anyone help with this problem?

Mostly what I've seen is too long of file names... (make the names of the Mp3 as short as possible)...
maybe there is something in the Amp'd firmware that gets around it? But I know a problem exists on the Verizon V710 and E815 firmware... more than 30 characters in the name, and they don't show...

Make sure the bit rate is low enough....at about 96 the phone will soud the same and they do not take up as much space...

just my two cents, but i can tell the difference in my ringtones if i try to lower the bitrate. i have all of my tones at 128 and they sound awesome and i have no problems, but i would sacrifice space for ringtone quality anyday(but that might be just me
)
i did have the problems with the filenames being too long also....shortened them ,and took care of the problem.
