Why doesn't Shaw offer all the digital channels that other companies provide? I'd like to get channels such as MuchVibe, Loud, EdgeTV, Citytv from Vancouver, RaptorsTV, and there are others too.

I would switch over to satellite, but there are 4 TV's in this house and therefore the other TV's would only get snowy local Global and CTV, and of course the fantastic programming that our tax dollars provide at CBC.

Plus I get internet through Shaw, so it works out to be a little cheaper with a bundle package. At least with digital cable I can get full regular cable on all the other TV's.

Any info on when these channels will be offered? Any other suggestions as to what I should do to get these channels?

Good luck. Shaw Cable doesn't like Chum as far as I can tell. There's the same problem throught western Canada

Much Music made a big stink when Shaw Calgary wouldn't pick up Vibe.

I can't understand why Shaw wouldn't provide a city like Calgary or Edmonton with channels like Vibe, Loud, etc. That's a huge market to disappoint.

The stupid thing is that SaskTel offers Citytv and Vibe, but Shaw doesn't! SaskTel is about as urban as Siberia.
