Replacement Battery problem

My dad's V3's battery wasn't charging properly anymore, so I bought a new one on ebay. It got here today, but I noticed that the new battery is a 3.7v's (just like my v3r's) but his is only 3.6v. Is it safe to use? Will this kill the phone?

Is it a Motorola or an aftermarket battery?

BR-50 from Motorola.

It should be fine, but in the future, Ebay is a bad place to buy wireless accessories, especially Motorola ones due to the high counterfeit rate.
