Hey all i got a 700p from a friend. All i have is the phone, battery, charger, and data cable. I downloaded palm desktop from downloads.com. When i connect the cable to the pda and my desktop it says on my comp found new mtp device but doesnt install anything and it wont synch. Is there something i need to download in order for it to work. I need help asap thanks in advance

You need hotsync too, and usb drivers for your palm to connect to the computer. You should be able to go to palm.com to get them without a problem. Make sure you get it for the right network too.

thanks... i had just figured it out. I went to palmone.com and downloaded the software idk why i didnt do that first. thanks for ur reply.
