No incoming calls on RAZR V3

Hi,

I'm having a problem with my RAZR V3. It is not receiving incoming calls. When I call it, It goes to voicemail after a few rings, but the phone itself does nothing, it doesn't ring or say missed call. It is also not receiving text messages.

I can make outgoing calls just fine.

Also the voicemail icon is stuck, always on, I've checked my voicemail and deleted all messages. but it won't go away.

I have done a master reset as instructed by t-mobile tech support. I have removed the battery for a few mins. same symptoms, no change.

Has anyone experienced this before? any ideas?

This sounds like a service issue, not a handset issue.

I had a customer that had the exact incoming call problem. A quick prl update fixed the problem.

did you check to make sure you don't have fowarding on?

it suddenly started working again today. I got like 20 text messages and new voicemail notification, and incoming calls started working.

I didn't set any call forwarding, i'm not sure how to check if it is on, can call forwarding be turned on without access to my handset? kinda like you can check voicemail by calling from a different phone as long as you know your voicemail pin. btw i have t-mobile.

I will look into doing a prl update just to be sure.
