I recently purchased my 6700 to provide company staff with an alternative to Blackberry. One of my administrators bought a Dash from T-Mobile (it has WM5) and we configured ActiveSync on Exchange 2003 for both of our accounts. My Verizon xv6700 (with unlimited data plan) will not receive emails from the Exchange server unless i set the activesync to check at 5min intervals. His T-Mobile Dash works fine.

I have the latest firmware, have done a hard reset and a soft reset. The vzw tech couldn't help me and told my to call the UTstarcom tech. That guy said I had an Exchange problem. How can I have an Exchange problem when the Dash works fine and mine doesn't?

Does anyone have any tips or has anyone heard of this?

do you have service pack 2 for exchange? sp1 can do a kind of activesync but nothing like a push mail.

Yes, ServicePack 2 is installed. And keep in mind, the T-Mobile Dash is working just fine with this. I hate to point at vzw or the device, but I can't call it an Exchange challenge...

I'm at a loss.
