anyhow ive read where its taken people hours to complete...

currantly on my pc phonexs says "waiting for EaTEbS" and it hasnt done anything else for a for minutes now, is this the part the takes hours?

ok, do i need to hold the C button the untire time? or at some point can i let go of it...

When it tells you, you connect the phone and hold the 'C' button until it reads your phone and displays your phone information. You can let go of the button afterwards.

ok so everything ive read about loading the new flash menus seems confusing... what do i do step by step... load the .thm file tothe theme folder, then what... it will work.. all this talk about the .swr files confuses me...

just use fungied.cheese pack. it has all the themes in their proper directories including the files you need to manually upload.

anouther thing.. 2 dead batteries, 7+ hours and i am still trying to get it to flash... i am begining to lose hope...

this is really getting crappie... anouther dead battery, 2 hours each time... grrr still not working.. i am thinking about giving up.... any insight?

just tomake sure i am doing this right, i select FSX then hit start, i dont add any files or anything correct?

From what i've heard, this is the part where it does actually take hours! I know a couple of people that took up to 9 hours! Mines at 6 1/2 and counting so far. We'll see, I don't know for sure.

in the thread it says you will most definately encounter Wait for EaTEbS. cam says to just wait it out and DO NOT RESTART it as this is the last thing before the end of the flash. or so i understand

yea most likely you'll encounter Wait for EaTEbs, it took me about 4 times to get it right... i just started over everytime i saw that message and the last time took about 5 hours to finally work

but then i ended up switching back to cingular firmware =P which can be flash enabled and using far manager which takes a fraction of the time

so youre saying you restarted when you saw that msg. but on the 2nd time you did it you waited 5 hours for it to finish?

when im doing the uploadig after i have turned on the start FXS buttom and loading its just trying and trying to upload but it sayes "this loader is LOCKED (errorcode=30) wth is this hmm help me

It's suppose to say loader is locked, it means it didn't successfully bruteforce into the phone and it's going to keep trying and trying and trying until it gets in.

i'm not entirely sure if it came up or not, i left it running while i was away and when i came back i saw it finish, forgot to look at the log. but i doubt the error came up the last time, i think it would have taken much longer to finish if it did
