Porting to a employee plan?

Well i have an interview at a corporate store on tuesday and was just curious about the employee plans. From the site i have gathered that you get an employee line when you start working there with unlimited everything and then after 3 months you can get two more lines which are more limited. I currently have sprint and was wondering if you can port your number over to an employee plan. If so, which would be the best plan to port the number over to? When you stop working for cingular do they take all three plans away from you, i know they take the first one. Thanks for the input.

Yes you can port in (after three months) and once you quit you have to pick a normal plan or cancel/port out.

So the phone with unlimited everything just gets a new number assigned to it? Im a little confused on that phone, can you use it for personal use or is it just to demo to customers and what not. Also, is the phone provided or do you have to pay for it. Thanks for the input

you have no say in what your COU line number will be (the unlimited one), the ERP lines are the ones that you get to pick or port your old number over to...by the time your 3 months rolls around to get your ERP line you'll be all but forgotten about using that number....or at least i did and i had my previous number since i was in high school

So is the COU line expected to be used for personal use? And about my phone question, do you have to buy it outright -30% or how does it work? Thanks again

Even with the discount you are better off buying your phone on eBay, read the sticky

read the sticky a few times but if there was a special discount for the cou line other than the 30%, was just curious. And i was looking on ebay but the phone i want is the 750 since i have a 700p right now and those go for atleast 500 on ebay while in store with 30% off i could get it for around 454 plus tax if i calculated right (on the website it shows it 649 outright and im assuming its the same in store, correct me if i am wrong). Im just really looking forward to my interview, i've been selling wireless for almost 2 years at radioshack and i've been wanting to get into a wireless corporate store for a while now. The pay is just very appealing comparing it to my underpaid wages at the shack.

Once you quit also you can not keep the COU number... its company property. No change of responsiblity, nothing! it gets cancelled.
