my unlocked smt5600 has recently been displaying an "unable to place call" error message. It happens at random times when the phone is idle. This just started today. anyone have any ideas? I did some searching with google but the results I got mostly had to do with people having trouble connecting to the internet which I am not interested in. i just want the phone to work normally. I am using it with my cingular account.

should I try a hard reset? the phone is unlocked. will a reset relock it?
