Manager Games? or Help with java

Hey. I've got a few questions. Hopefully they can be answered 
Firstly.. I've attempted to install java games i have on another phone, onto my T-mobile MDA Vario. PRoblem is, they load. Buuuuut i have no way of entering commands like continue etc... Any idea why? or how i can overcome this problem?
Secondly.. Do you know of any manager games ie. Championship manager, lma manager, football manager or even a NFL manager type game that i can get for a Pocket Pc? or will i have to use the java version?
