Installing apps on K800i

With my Nokia 6680 I can use the net to download apps, and then connect a Usb cable to the nokia and use Nokia PC suite to install it to the phone.
How does it work on the K800i?

download direct to the k800i or download the jad/jar file to the pc, cable up,
copy the file over and run from the k800's file manager.
