The Cingular corporate office in Cerritos, CA is hiring for Small Business Advisors (SBA). Does anyone have any information on the position, or is currently an SBA

I want some insight on the position to see how it really is....

Thanks!

it is basically small time b2b. You work in an area (sometimes that b2b does not even cover necessarily) and refer business into the local cor stores. You are doing outside sales, recruiting business accounts with less than 50 lines.

How is it working for Cingular? How is the commission plan? Bonus?

anyone ? Bueller?

Isn't this more or less the job of a RSC?

In my area we are expected to do this on our own without the help of some outside rep. We rarely actually do this of course.

this is not like the job of an rsc...yes, as an rsc you are expected to go out and recruit business customers through both iru and small business cru customers...this "small business advisor" position is a dedicated outsid sales rep who works an area recruiting small business customers full time. They then refer them into the retail store and hand that customer off to an rsc...each customer that is handed off in this way, the sbae gets paid on.

My coworker just went to interview for that position this afternoon. He said they offered him 33k/ year PLUS bonuses depending on if he hits his quota.

i wonder if the quota they give is realistic

I'm sure it doesn't pay as well as selling 4 million dollar planes.
