S620 USB Headset adapter with Mic and Hangup/Answer button

Just saw this online and it's exactly what I've been looking for. It connects to the minusb then the wire extends to the breakout box with the button to answer/hangup calls. From here you can connect your favorite pair of headphones.

I have some nice BOSE headphones I've wanted to use but didn't want to purchase current adapters in which you lose the answer/hangup feature. This unit has a MIC also.

Just figured I'd post it since I couldn't find it listed in the Forums already.

"Use this adaptor to convert the HTC S620 extUSB socket to support any 3.5mm stereo headphones. The adaptor also has a hangup/answer button for normal voice calls through a stereo headset."

Wow! This is what I've been looking for. Now does anyone know of something similar with a volume control slider built into the jack? Would be great for playing PocketNesterPlus with sound finally without waking up the whole house or popping an eardrum on headphones.

That's the one feature I wish it had, a volume slider.
I'm just happy I can connect my expensive earbuds into it and still use the hangup/answer option. I'm going to order mine right now.

I wish I would have seen this this thread before dropping $100+ on stereo bluetooth headphones that don't even sound that good

The buds I'm using already have a volume slider on it so if you have a pair of headphones with a volume slider then you should be set.

So I'm assuming I could use a wired headset (plantronics) with this and the microphone would work?

This is something that I have been looking for.

finally got it today. works great.

My adapter came in last week and I love being able to use my own headphones with it's own volume sliderule. I wish it was a bit longer since I clip my phone on my waist the the MIC reaches about the middle of my chest instead of near my mouth.

I just got mine today and it is sweet!

I'm using it along with this:

This way I can charge it while I'm in the car and I have an adapter to play music/phone calls through my car stereo. I've tried it on a few people and they all say it's like a normal phone.

I would definitely recommend!

This is something I've been looking for as well. Bumped to ask if any owners know that a wired headset can be used with these adapters?

I want to use the wired ety.com or TheBoom headset for my Dash/S620.

Tomorrow I'll test out my gaming headphones to see if which mic works. I'm assuming it will default to the mic on the adapter and not on my gaming headset.

Any body have a wired headset s200 from motorola? I pluged it into the usb port but nothing happens.. the speakerphone still plays my music and everything.. is there something I have to set to get the wired handsfree to work?

Thanks,

That's because it isn't the proper connection. HTC has their own 11-pin.
