Why is it that PrePaid customers are such idiots? They think they are doing us a favor by having a prepaid phone. It makes absolutely no sense to me. Every PrePaid Customer I have ever had has been one of the following: Fat, Smelly, Ignorant, Stupid, Racist, Missing Teeth, Old, Credit Challenged....if I think of more let me know. Just needed to vent.

"You got da prepaid with the nights and weekends?"

It goes on all day, what's worse are the people who come in to pay a bill, I see the same people every month who are 90 days past due with shut off phones who only pay the minimum and get mad that their phone is shut off again.

I work part time and go to school. And just because I think prepaid customers are clueless doesn't mean I don't belong in the business. Ohh you of so many posts. Bash me via the web, hurt my insides, make me feel small and helpless.

Well you hit the nail on the head of the target demographic. I feel bad for cricket customers. I have heard so many stories from employess of cricket where they had to call the cops almost daily.

i got one for you.....sold a meth head and his crack wh%$e girlfriend 2 go phones, because the ones he brought in that were broke in half did'nt work. i got a call the other day

i said did you feel out the rebates... they of course said naw we dat you wud do dat..
go phone means what it says heres a phone now go back down by the river smoke some crack.
Its not worth the 1.50$ i make on the deal, i wish walmart did all pre paid.

I would say that they are all like that because that is who Prepaid targets.

I find them annoying also because we don't make much off off them. I dont really mind helping older people though, they are just trying to get a phone because there kids want a way for them to be able to call if something were to happen to them.

I work in a pretty nice area so I don't get too many crack heads and losers.

I love it when they tell you that theyre losing thousands of dollars per hour they're without their prepaid phone because it has no money on it and they don't have a CC to use to add more money.

"why" is an interrogative word and it needs a "?" after it, not a "!", as "?" indicates a question.

Now, prepaid customers are not idiots, they are YOUR customers. some customers will be a PITA, others will not. it's the nature of the business - it's called 'customer service'. You shouldn't stereotype in such a bad manner - it really reflects bad on you - essentially you are what you criticize.

As a prepaid user I tried hardly to fit in your prepaid profile but I may have failed:

Fat? 160lbs
Smelly? Agree, but only in the morning before the shower
Ignorant, stupid? Perhaps I got my college degree playing smart.
Racist? No according to Ishihara
Missing Teeth? 1...2...3...4...5....6 nah! Some resin fillings though.
Old? Early 40's
Credit Challenged? 805 last time I checked last year.

If I opted to use prepaid it was because my only two working brain neurons told me that it would be stupid to waste my money in a contracted plan if I only was going to use few minutes every month. You see, I use it only for emergencies, "pick the kid", "don't forget to bring milk" type of calls.

I have no idea in what trailer park you might be located to get only that type of customers but you sure should ask your manager for a transfer so people don't mistake you for one of them, especially for the "ignorant, stupid" part.

I must be all of the above because for the life of me I can't understand why any casual user would want a post plan. Getting locked in is a carriers wet dream, but for me it's just stupid...like me!

And there's the who's pocket should my cash be in mine or some corporate masterminds.

First I would like to say thank you for the grammer lesson, it was very enlightening experience; but please, if you would be so kind sir, listen to what I am saying, and judge me not by the manner in which I punctuate what I am saying.

I don't think you are completely grasping the concept of "prepaid". A prepaid customer is noones customer, they have no attachments whatsoever to cingular execpt for the fact that we are who they buy their minutes from. They are not required to pay any predefined amount per month, there is no contract, meaning they can stop using their phone at any time. What this also means is, after the initial purchase and activation of the phone (which pays ME maybe a dollar) all a prepaid customer is 99.9% of the time is a nuisance. Either they broke their phone and want a new one for free because they are such a fantastic customer, or they are not intellegent enough to read the back of the prepaid card before asking/telling me to add minutes to it for them.

And as for my stereotypical additude which you both seem to want to chime in on, it comes with the territory. I have been working here since I started college and yes, it is a pain in the ***; and I seriously doubt the type of character and physical traits I am describing would ever be allowed to work anywhere, much less a sales position; but you are entitled to your stereotypical opinions as well. As for the area I am in, it is Texas, so yes, there is trailor trash that comes in for their monthly visit to town and we have to deal with their stupidity, and they happen to be predominantly PREPAID!!!!!

I am paying for school, the hourly is nothing without COMMISION, and the only time I run is when I see a prepaid customer coming.

my line that i got alot selling verizona prepaid

cus- i want a 15 dollar pre paid card
me- ok that will be 15 dollars
cus- how many minutes is that
me- its a dollar a day. 10 cents a minutes, umlimited mobile to moblie and unlimited nights
