Hey dude,

I got it from www.pocketpcthemes.com and it was the first background in the 'Nature' section called 'Red Autumn'.

Lots of other good stuffs there too.

Hey guys - nice Today Screens! In fact - I just installed SPB Time because if the way it looks on "Plz Kill Me's" Today Screen. But - now I have a stupid question - how the hect do I remove the time for the top menu bar on WM 5.0 - now that I have this new Today plug-in? Sorry - I searched every setting and couldn't find it...(although I do have the patience level of a hyper chipmunk on crack...!)

ALSO - while I'm asking...does anyone know of a different way to "Lock" the screen - other then hitting the Lock item on the Today Screen? I'd like to remove this from my Today screen - and maybe assign it to a Button?

02 plus-- This little program includes an option to disable/enable the clock in the top task bar and replace it with a battery meter.

Here is my Today Screen on the Cingular 8525

From the top down is SPB Pocket Plus battery bar, Weather Panel, TodayAgenda, PHM PPC Power Toy - Tray Launch

In the tray is PZPModes, Bandswitch, Resco Explorer, IGuidance, Pocket Streets and Trips, Pocket Viewer, Excel, Cool Calc, Tasks, Notes

PZPModes sets the phone profile by tapping the icon that is currently set at 3. It sets Mute, Quiet, Normal, Loud, Soft, Vibrate modes.

Bandswitch changes between UTMS/HSDPA and GPRS by taping the icon that is currently set for A (Auto)

Here are a few pics of mine. Its nothing special I have 2 plugin Resco and Fizz Weather. I used Resco screen capture to capture these. And the E icon; that is real on an 8525. I'm on UMTS and getting 3G speeds, but the dialer screens below screwed up my precious U.

Here is it with the startmenu open.

Here is my new translucent glass purple dialer screen.

Here is the screen with built in smartdial.

I have it, and on top of using TelNav for my GPS, I use Live Search for a more detailed map/GPS program.

Oh, and as for reference to the "E" icon, that's Edge on my 8125.

If your referring to the section that says 3G Cingular? That's just the cell towers that do that. If I go to other areas it just says Cingular, but most towers around here say 3G Cingular.

There are other dialers in that thread, I nice black one too.

You can also check out www.paulya.com He is responsible for most of the graphics, but most of his dialers lack the SmartDialer abilities. The 1st link are people that took his graphics and incorporated the smartdialer. If you don't need or care about the smartdialer, then Pauly's site has some sweet ones, that also work in landscape mode.

As for T9 these dialer won't give you that ability. I believe their is an app on the xda-developers site that provides T9 capabilities. You would have to check. I see your point in wanting it, but one of the main reason I got a phone with a keyboard was so I never had to use T9 again.

The only reason I want it is so if I am in the car and need to give a short, quick reply with one hand I can. Other than that, I agree it is no longer needed with this phone.

Resco and Spb both make sweet apps. I'm running both as the pic below shows. Spb Weather, and Resco Today Plugin. Just added SMS Call Block so now I can block calls AND unwated text messages!

Well thats possible. It just depends on the tags that Cingular has loaded on their towers. If their towers tags just say Cingular, then your phone will just say Cingular. Nothing you can do to change that.

Can someone help me remove SPB Diary? I downloaded the trial and cannot find how to remove it. When I go to my programs it is not there. I saved it to the phone memory not the card. Thanks for the help and if you couldn't tell, I am not the biggest fan of it.

CJ, How did you minimize SPB Pocket Diary? I removed the tabs I did not want, but now it takes up half the screen just blank. It looks like on yours yoy have it so it only goes to the bottom of your last line. Thanks again for the help.

i downloaded multidesk trial and i just couldnt figure out how to do it ...i used pictures from my phone and i wouldnt get the whole picture as the background and how did you get the weather and faces on?

I just uninstalled that myself. I could not get it to work very well and it really slowed my phone down.

No, how do you do that? I looked in programs, and in the today screen settings but didnt see anything.

Edit: Just tried installing it again, this time from a cab file... it still doesn't work, doesn't even show up on the "remove programs" thing.

Quick question I am hoping someone can help me with? When I go to pocketpcthemes and download them, they are not fitting my screen well. What version/format do I need to downlaod to get them to fir my 8525's screen? Thanks for the help.

I think I finally have my screen the way I like it with SPB Shell, Pocket Plus, Diary and Phone Alarm. I just need a great theme to complete it.

Just picked up SPB Mobile Shell. It rocks!

Weather tab, information comes out then rehides.

This is the 'Now' Screen from SPB Mobile Shell, configurable somewhat. The only problem is I wish it locked. Tap anything and it goes straight to your today screen.

naw, i'm using wisbar advance 2 w/wisbar desktop...you can do all sorts of configurations or short cuts to minimize going through your start menu...i just chose to switch between two different screens just for something different...i like to change things up a bit just to keep it fresh...i'm the type that gets sick of the same ol' look everyday...
