TREO 750: Ringtone Problem

I have been reading about the 750 not ringing or ringing on the 2nd or 3rd ring etc.

My problem is that I changed my ring to a ringtone I downloaded. When my phone rings, I usually here this ring. When my wife calls it is a completely different ringtone than what is assigned. I double checked and for known numbers and unknown numbers it is the same downloaded ringtone, but only when she calls it is a completely different ringtone.

What am I missing? I hate the ring it uses for her and she calls me the most...

This was also happening to me once I used the "Sound" app to add tones and the assign to a contact it started to work just fine. There is a thread I started on this somewhere--not sure if it's in the "cingular-pda" forum or Pocket PC.
