Possibly a stupid question

I have an Audiovox 8910 and I'm on a new local carrier called Pocket that does not have internet functionality yet (Should be coming within a couple weeks), which means I can't send pictures. (Unlimited EVERYTHING for $30 a month, it's hard to complain.)
I have quite a few pics on my phone I'd really like to find a way to get them onto my computer. I downloaded Bitpim but it wouldn't detect the phone and I read in the help that this phone isn't supported and that it could damage it using it with Bitpim. Are there any other programs or methods I can use to just pull the pictures off the phone and onto my computer?
Have so far: a usb cable for the 8910, and all the drivers installed for both the cable and the phone.
Any help is much appreciated.
