buy.com has 512mb cards for $0.95 after rebate ($27.95 with a $27.00 rebate)
and 1gb micro SD cards for $12.95 after rebate ($27.95 with a $15.00 rebate)
and each of these has free "slow boat" shipping.

It was also at Buy.com, during the Christmas shopping season.

But I haven't paid attention to the price lately because I am waiting for the 2GB ones to drop. I will do a bargain price topic like you if I find a good price.
