i got on the pdaconnect w/xpressmail and it installed just fine. There's even a setting where you can check "Enable Push". Hmm...i k now that you're supposed to leave your computer on at all times for this, which is SO annoying. although wiuth this one, it installed fine without it. is there any way (not necessarily xpressmail) that will give my ppc true push email??? i don't mind paying for it, if it will only work. thanks guys!

Wirelessly posted (Palm Treo 750: Palm750/v0000 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320) UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

Could get an exchange account from intermedia.net or similar company. That'll give you true push.

yeah, if you have an exchange server, you can use microsoft direct push. the other option, if you have pop/imap is to set up the account in the device client and have it manually check anywhere from 1 minute to 60 minutes. the more checking, the more strain on your battery though.

Yea, the auto-checking is annoying and not true push. but xpressmail specifically had an option to Enable Push. WTF!??! And the intermedia.net. is there a fee???

I don't know about intermedia.net, but mail2web has a free exchange server service that has push email and is free.
