SPB Backup messed up calendar on Treo 750

Has anyone had this problem with SPB Back Up? When I installed it my calendar alerts have gone away. When ever I have a calendar notification that is suppose to go off it does not notify me. Is there a patch for this or does anyone know how to resolve the problem? I uninstalled the program but my calendar alerts hahve still not come back even after a soft reset.
