Sprint OS Pkg 4.1.0.493

Hello,
When upgrading to this Pkg does it upgrade your OS to 4.1.0.493 or does the OS still say 4.1.0.359? I have heard rumors of people updating using this package and when done the OS still says 4.1.0.359. I got my 8703e 11/28 and it says OS 4.1.0.359 so do I need to update?
As a matter of fact, the file name of this package even has 359 in it. "8703eEFSBP_PBr4.1.0_rel493_PL2.2.0.166_A4.1.0.359_ SprintPCS.exe "
