8525 and Exchange Server Emails?

I'm curious, I have my 8525 setup with my work exchange server. If I want to send an email out, does it sit in my outbox till I do a sync or does it send out automatically? I know you have to sync in order to bring the mail into your folders and update folders accordingly.

it should by default send out automatically. go to ActiveSync and click on menu then schedule. You should have a check mark next to "Send outgoing items immediately".

I cannot get my phone to sync with the exchange server on a schedule? how do you fix that?

The scheduled sync is an activesync setting.
You may also want to include the sent folder in your sync. It is not by default.
