So i was changing the cover to a better condition one, wasn't my first time taking off the body or the screen, but it was the first time i took the cover off the U shaped piece[hinge part]....

now...

-i press power, "please wait" screen comes up, then turns black, external screen is fine, and the start up melody still goes....tried calling it and the phone received it but i couldn't answer and screen stayed black

-most of the buttons are unresponsive the green button on the side seems to work for the most part, along with the zoom in button [zoom out and red button doesn't work]

-i got into camera mode, and noticed the image is sideways, so i am assuming the phone thinks it's in camera mode with the screen twisted and closed which i'm think MIGHT explain the keypad not responding....

anyone experienced this before?
any chance reflashing or something could fix this?

also
i know there is a magnet at the edge of U piece, is that how it recognizes whether the screen is twisted or not? could accidental magnetization of some of the surrounding pieces be the cause of my problem?

thx

sounded like u misplaced a part that recongizes the phone from being flipped up or not

surprisingly, it was just because the keypad wasn't connected properly....the ribbon wire got pulled out of the socket a little cause i didn't notice when i was removing the front piece that it got hooked on and pulled on it a bit
