I just got the Kyocera K132 on Pocket Communications. I suppose nobody's heard of it since it's exclusive to that carrier. Well, thankfully there's a return policy...are all Kyoceras this slow? Yeah, this is a rant but I'm kindof wondering if anyone could help me make this phone worth while.
One thing that's pretty annoying is that the phone ringtones are divided up into two types: ones that you can set as ringtones and ones that just sit there. Any remedy for this?
The whole experience, I'm sad to say, reminds me of an Oystr gone wrong. I'll be returning the phone unless anyone can tell me how to better its experience.
anyone?

Hmm, not seeing the model or carrier on Phonescoop, can you give a link to the handset?

k. mever mind, finally found it out there on the net...
My impression is, cubist much?
Judging by the pix of the UI on the phone, it looks like one of Kyocera's basic entry-level K* phones, which are noteable for having a slow processor. I'm not impressed really, considering that it's cousin the KX9 (Oystr) on Virgin Mobile retails for only $20, and Pocket wants $100? Comeon!

Yeah, the phone IMO looks nice but I guess you're right about the slow proc. My Palm VII performs better than that Kyo!
But about the $100, keep in mind that Pocket is an ulimited carrier, like MetroPCS and Cricket, and the first month of service (worth $43.11 in my case) is included in the cost of the phone. So really it's not such horrible deal. Though, yesh, the UI seems depressingly Oyster minus Virgin.
I'm returning it today...sorry but I think I'll go LG this time around...
