...made $110 in the 4 hours I worked!

My manager says I'm the best sales person she ever had.

I frickin' LOVE this job!

As far as phones:

I sold a 2 Razr V3xx's, a Razr V3, and a Treo 750

I also sold a car charger, the new Ericcson bluetooth carspeaker and a basic DSL subscription.

either you are good or beginner luck. only time will tell.

It's beginners luck. Seriously, I have seen it time and time again.

Wait until he is with the company for awhile. The though of getting up in the morning and going to work will make him want to kill himself. LOL

congrats man. i start feb 5. kind of excited

Posted by: duddy

I love this job because there are 2 full time employees and 1 part time. I'm the part time college guy.

Also, my manager is VERY laid back. She let's us use the internet and our phones when there are no customers.

I just hope I can pull in $50 in commision a day, that would be great!

Posted by: steva11

good job, man! the most important thing is to keep up on the info...to know what you're talking about.

Posted by: duddy

Yeah, the guy who bought the 750 came in the store wanting a 680.

I just had my way with words and sold him just on Outlook and Office.

Posted by: MrAlifEkin

Good job. You know what the real challenge is? Keeping that same attitude in 3 months. I remember how excited I was when I first started that job...

Posted by: Eck0

haha im in the same position as you. I'm the part time college guy.

Posted by: duddy

Sweet. I don't see myself geeting sick of this job. Now, pushing heavy shopping carts around in front of a grocery store in the rain/cold/blistering heat for 2 years is a job I got sick of after 3 days.

I can't believe I did that job for 2 years, making only 5.65 with NO RAISE!

This Cingular/AT&T job is Heaven compared to what I have been doing.

Posted by: RyanM

Not bad, not bad at all.

I would quit if they took away the internet.

Posted by: duddy

Well it must not be beginers luck, cause today I made $180!

Posted by: Wonwad

Damn dun, you make a lot, congrats!

Posted by: Plutar

I think I speak for the board when I say that I expect a full earnings report promptly at the end of every shift!

Posted by: duddy

LOL! No thanks, I'm just excited to making soo much damn money now. I got dizzy when my manager pulled my earnings report when I clocked out.

Also, the main reason I think I make soo much is because there are only 2 people on the sales floor at my store. Me and the other person.

I know way more about smartphones then the other person so I get all the smartphone and PDA connect sales.

I actually had set a goal of atleast $80 for today before I clocked in.

Posted by: drewyehboi

I hate to say this but, just wait till they change your payplan a 2 or 3 times, then you will be singing another tune

drew, man, I think you hate your job. You haven't said one nice thing about Cingular/ AT&T since I've known you.

Posted by: MrAlifEkin

so much ambition....don't worry, you'll hate yours soon too. I know it's hard to believe right now....but trust me...

Here's a good example of why :

expect many more of those.

I'm not soo sure, I live by the law of attraction. If I stay confident in myself and handle situations without having them linger in my mind, then I KNOW I'll succeed.

I work for Gevity and from what I heard from the other two girl employees, they have never been screwed over and both have worked there for more than 4 years. My store doesn't have turn over, no one has ever quit or been fired. And my manager is a great girl! She is very friendly and knows just how to handle rude people for us.

Let me get this straight.. nobody has ever quit or been fired.. so your 2 coworkers have been the ONLY 2 EMPLOYEES FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS?

wow.

Posted by: Alfred_Neuman

its nice you like the job duddy, but things will get worse. i know, i was like you back in 2004.

ive since put away the orange splat (now the flaming blue deathstar) for the pink T and its like night and day. i like it here.

Posted by: Wonwad

Wasn't so nice when I started, now I like it.

Posted by: NXTLAU

Everybody loves this job at first, but the true challenge is to everyday have the same energy that you have now. Just wait til in one day all you deal with is broken phone or other lame issues....We all have our days, trust me.

Posted by: Wonwad

Don't worry Duddy, I hope you keep doing a great job, you get good customers, and keep making money!

Posted by: savinggrace

Gosh darn and gauwly! You could retire if you got paid commission on the cellphones themselves! Keep on selling. I love the school boys. Easy on the eyes....

I live by the law of reality and the reality is that although u made $110 in 4 hours of work on the floor... the features you sold probably won't be on the accounts long enough for u to keep the money. I do however admire your mindset and ambition.. Good luck with your job, you'll do great just keep that positive mindset!!!

Posted by: MrAlifEkin

lol yeah I remember my first experience with chargebacks...my ambition was on the decline after that.
