Treo 680 crashing?!?

I haven't installed any new programs on my Treo 680, until now it has been very stable without any problems. Over the last couple weeks have had repeated crashes when simply trying to answer the phone. Sometimes it will reset itself several times in quick succession after a crash, taking up to five minutes before it finally finishes. I have tons of memory that is free, and don't have any hacks or strange programs. Is this normal behavior, or is there something I can do to try and correct this?
