Hello All
I tried a search but not everyones situations is the same, and I didnt find anything... hoping you guys can help.

I need a new phone and I would like to tether it to my laptop and surf the web. I have dial-up (yes, i know!) and I am dying over here!! I would like a phone that would give me a faster Internet connection and so far, the DASH seems to be the phone a lot of folks talk about. My current dial up speed is about 52 Kbps but I do not know how much better/faster EDGE or WiFi get. I would like to go with T Mobile. Your help is GREATLY appreciated!!!!

Tethering won't be much faster than dial up , so I am told. I use a Verizon EV-DO card with my laptop. A bit pricey at 60 a month, but it works for me. Six nights in a hotel or hot spot hits and its paid for.

Please dont tell me that! Is this what Im going to have to do? Thats cool, as long as I know about this BEFORE I jump into a new device!! What do others think?
