Hypothetically, when the 904SH unlock does become publicly available, what are the chances that it's gonna be so outdated for people to no longer care? Cause that's just the feeling I've been getting lately

well, depends- if this unlock also works on the next set of Softbank phones, that's motivation enough to keep going.

i dont know, though the 904sh has a lot of carrier dependent features, and the specs of a 903sh aint that far behind from it, i think ill just stick to my 903sh

I agree with you ACE but I went ahead and bit the bullet and got the 904sh the other day and man I like it alot screen is incredible, nice features and I know I speak for everyone that has one cant wait till it is usable, I know its not alot different than the 903sh but it has a id on the outside so you can see the time and who is calling unlike the 903sh and it just a new phone

cant wait!!! Plus if they are able to get this one usable then who knows maybe the next generation phones that can be used outside the japan area will come our way soon also.

The newer phones will not be usable at all, theres not even a chance. And, as far as I can see, the 'carrier dependant' features are actually just gprs depedant

Agreed but I am willing to wait it out Im not buying anyother second rate phones, I am a sharp phone user that is all there is to it!!!!

Yea, there's no chance of any of the newer Sharp phones being usable, they are all UMTS (or 3G). So we're screwed...it doesn't even matter about the unlock.

the 812sh is triband gsm/3G

, plus docomo has plans of releasing dual mode phones soon

Ya even tho they are using that type of complex system there is a chance the 904sh will be usable and some of the sony phones that has the same system. If there is a will there is a way nothing is impossible. Ace like the banned forever lol

lol, people have been liking my title haha, btw, hopefully the US gets FeLiCa, and hopefully the same as Japan, so we can use ours here
