Cingular 2125 just plain doomed?

I've contacted HTC and they told me pretty much that they know there is a text messaging problem and they have no plans on fixing it. Has anyone been able to correct the text messaging problem where it skips over letters completely? Also, does anyone else have a problem where you select "Answer" when the phone rings and it disconnects the person?

i have the problem of disconnecting when i hit answer. really inconvenient and frustrating.

I jsut picked up a 6682 and im selling mine off.

i have a 6682 as well. Good luck with it. Terrible slow, although the operating system is more intuitive in my opinion. I just wish the found wasn't so damn slow.

I had the drop call when you hit answer... The solution was to get the BlackJack.

But that came with it's OWN set of frustrating problems...

Technology is wonderful. We pay for it despite the fact that it doesn't work. It works somewhat but that doesn't qualify as working.
