I am fairly a rookie at the cell phone stuff and am trying to help my brother connect his phone to his computer. I have a Lg vx8300 and have been able to install usb device drivers and then add music, rings and pictures via bitpim. This is my only experience.
He has a motorola razr Vc3 and also bought the music essentials kit for it. We have tried to install the drivers from the disk as well as download them from the internet and install them. Even though it says installed successfully is stills brings up the screen to search for drivers when we plug the phone in and always say it cant locate them.
So i am trying to figure out what i am doing wrong and how i can fix this. Also does bitpim work well with any phone or should i use another program for the Razr. I am very happy with it for my LG and it does everything that i want and i know how to use it. So if it works good enough i would prefer to use it, but will try another program if you guys think it sucks. Thanks in advance and i appreciate any help.
