Need a lot more information...
What do you want to use it for?
What do you use now?
What size device are you interested in?
Etc, etc, etc...

I'd start by seeing if you have a preference for SureType or full qwerty. For most, that's a deal-or-no-deal feature.

Frankly, if you want a camera, MP3 player and more of a media device, I'd steer clear of Blackberries. They are great devices, but they are clearly a more business oriented device. They excel in email and have decent web browsing capabilities, but I wouldn't want to use one as a primary MP3 player or Camera...
With respect to the SureType or full QWERTY, I'm finding that the sure type is okay for most things. I'm still kinda wondering if I would be happier with the QWERTY. I don't e-mail THAT much, but even for entering meetings, contact names and the like, I'm not that fast with SureType. (Then again, I do type 120 or so WPM so anything seems frustrating compared to a full keyboard...)
Go to a store that carries as many different devices as possible and just play around. You'll probably know pretty quick what you do and don't like.
Good luck!

I would agree with what someone else on here said, do you need/want a QWERTY keyboard? If so, you won't want a Pearl or a 7100 series. Personally, I came from a Treo700p and don't miss QWERTY one bit! The Suretype on the Pearl is awesome. Sure, sometimes it guesses the wrong word when there are two possible combos using the keys I pressed, but its few and far between. I highly recommend the Pearl, it's one of the best devices I've ever had and I've had a lot. The only thing I wish it had isn't RIM's problem, it's really the lack of HSDPA on T-Mobile.
