8910 vs BitPim vs QPST

Ok, I'm in dire need of help here. Is there some way I can pull pictures from my phone onto my computer? I know about Bitpim and QPST. Bitpim won't detect my phone, and QPST has trouble finding a phone on the port.
I downloaded a Curitel packet and it seems to recognize my phone just fine. It can pull up my total calls and all that kind of thing.
I just can't find any working program or way to PULL PICTURES OFF OF THE PHONE SO I CAN PUT THEM ON MY COMPUTER.
It's a bit frustrating especially because my carrier doesn't provide picture messaging yet so I can't just mail them to an email....
Anyone have ANY ideas on how I can get the pictures from my phone to my computer. I need them for a project I'm working on, so it's pretty important.
