Sharp J-SH09 Language Change Possible?

Hey folk's, A friend recently received a Sharp J-SH09 which apparently is in Japanese language & unfortunately none of us here understand it, so i was wondering if there's a step to step guide on choosing english language within the phone, any help regarding it would be much appreciated.

I have searched everywhere that phone is 5 years old nothing out there that I can find........

im not sure where you're located but don't forget it won't work in the US.

So any idea what's up with these phones, it seem's it uses a GSM Sim card but surprisingly i haven't been able to locate the sim holder, Any possible way of it working on other network's besides Vodafone?

it won't work outside Japan... at ALL.

i didn't mention that... it doesn't use a SIM card either.

Yeah it's not a GSM phone, it's a PDC phone, unique and limited to Japan only. It doesn't work outside Japan.

For English display, I'm not sure if English was implemented this far back (there's nothing left on this phone on the internet anymore), but if it is, you should find it by pushing the centre button for the main menu, selecting ファンクション (the centre icon), then 表示／設定１(shortcut no 3), then looking for a 'Language' option.
