if i DON'T utilize the Blackberry internet services,, is there a way to send pics through Cingular?? sorry for this noob question, i have looked through manuals , etc and can't seem to find the answer and hot to instructions..

I have a Pearl on Cingular. When I go to send a picture, the phone prompts me to select MMS or Email. I've allways used email (which uses the BlackBerry data plan).

Maybe MMS would work if you didn't have a BB data plan, but I seem to remember something about MMS pictures still need to send data somehow so it might not work.

how do you actually find where to send the pic?? i don't see it anywhere.. when i view the pic i want to send, i click on the options and i don't see any option to send a pic..thanks!!

On the Pearl, TMob or cingular, you need to have a data plan to send MMS. You can send SMS without Data Plan. So, the option to send an MMS wont even show up unless the Pearl is connected through a data plan.

You will notice on your home page, something that says "Data Connection Refused". This means you dont have a data plan. I'm assuming you don't, therefore the option to send a pic message doesn't show up.
