Well i am moving to cingular from t-mobile and with a 2 year contract, i know a guy that works there and he can get me a 8525 for 299$ and or a 3125 for 50$. Now i don't know if i really want a full on PDA yet. Will it be too oversized and should i just go with a normal phone w/o all the works? I am a big person and have big hands so i wont mind a bigger phone. Also i am going to college soon and am thinking of using the 8525 as a laptop replacement. If i dont buy the 8525 then i will have to get a laptop.

What do you guys think? Will this be good for college and notes? I dont want to be stuck with a phone i wont like for 2 years. Maybe i can ask him if i can return the expensive one within 30 days if i dont like it.

I think you should go with the 8525, it will be much more useful for you in am academic setting,the ease of data entry really makes it worthwhile. I just want to caution you however in most settings the 8525 can do the job of a laptop, for long periods of use and writing papers you will still want a laptop.

Go with the 8525 and use your V3 as your second phone when you need to use a small phone.
