I just wondered why the heck Motorola would sell a phone with a mini USB port and not provide SOME sort of damn cover for it! It could be a little rubber plug with a leash, it could be damn near anything as long as it keeps dust and whatnot out of the damn port. A case doesn't help because they so helpfully have cutouts for the stupid port. I can't even find an aftermarket rubber plug for it. I know they are out there somewhere, I can't be the only person who finds this extremely irritating. To top it off, the display phone at the store had a cover/plug but when I got mine it wasn't there. Dang it, I'm so mad I could spit.

check out verizons motorola w315 they have a cover for there usb port. i would look up replacement covers for motorola w315 and see what that gets ya.

You must have some early version of motorola phone. Mine MotoRIZR has a cover for USB port.

i just saw today at a cingular store a new razr, v3g, and it had a cover for the usb. kinda like the one the sony psp uses for the mem-stick cover, its this flexible thing that keeps the cover hangin

The krzr and the w315 both come with this cover you describe. The q and razr don't. Chock that up to motorola design team
