Treo 750 Updated As More Units Released?

If Palm makes some changes to the Treo 750 as further units are turned out, will there be some numbers (OS, Build, or ROM Verson) change?

Please check-out your Treo 750 and post such numbers here, and when you bought it. I am hoping the fact it has not made it to their own website yet, though it was supposed to be there by yesterday (01.31.07), means they are addressing issues. Thanks!

Note: I just noticed they have changed their website to say "Available in February 2007."

Mine has a Date on the box of 1-19 and it locks up while making some calls.

A friend of mine has 1-09 date and he says no problems at all.

Do you mean the little price tag-like sticker on the box? Mine says 1/18/07. I experience very few phone problems. Bought it in Roswell, a northern suburb of Atlanta back on 1/22.

Yea, a little white price sticker has the date on it.

My friends has a Red Rubber stamp date on his.

Jan 25th.

I found those numbers under start, settings, system then about. And its in that area under different menus.

Purchased mine on 02.09.07 in Louisville. It was their last one they had. They had previously been out of stock, so this was not from their first batch for certain.

So far ... LOVING IT!

Zero issues thus far (knock on compressed wood). Memory card is holding. Rings when it is supposed to ring, though I have not turned on or played with Voice Command yet.

I'm on the fence about this phone & the 8525. VC is a deal breaker for me if it doesn't work.

VC appears to be the cause of the most common complaints on the Treo. Those are delayed ringing on incoming calls and loss of sounds.

I wonder if VC 1.6 fixes any of these problems:

The Treo 750 comes with 1.5.

I upgraded to VC 1.6 and have no problems with it at all. I never used VC until I got my Treo 750.

I purchased mine on 2/08 and it has the same version info. No problems to report so far, but I 'm not clutteering my Today screen with a bunch of plugins and I turned off Voice Command. I may return it if I decide to port out because of service degradation, but as far as the device is concerned, everything OK so far.
