I'm SICK of Motorola. Of all the phones i have had moto has been the worst. The first phone i got was a nokia. It was nice and solid and reliable. The next was sony ericsson. It was ok, but i just didnt like it that much. Then came the day when i bought a motorola v170. One of the crappiest phone i had ever had. felt super cheap and couldnt do squat. Now I have a razr. Its way better than the v170, i keep having problems with bugs in it. I know it is not ampd because ive used the angel.

I don't think im getting a moto ever again

Motorola used to make great phones. Now it seems like most of their phones just don't perform well. I don't know what happened.

I defected to SE from Motorola. I liked my RAZR, but I grew tired of it quickly. I have had 5 Motorola phones in the past, 1 Nokia, and 2 SE phones, and I like the SE phones the most.

personally i have owned many motorolas, from the 120e c343 v60p/s/i e815 v710 and the q
i love motorola phones, with the exception on the razor. yeah it looks cool but im over it. i was excited for the krazor till i held it, its way too skinny for me.

i will purchase motorola in the future mainly due to the number of moto accesories i have.
i have lots of junk for my wifes pink razor and for my q.

Same here! I really love my w810i! Solid phone, super easy to use and it is loaded with features. The Razr looked nice and sleek but not much else. I think I kept the Razr for a month before I sold it!

Hello. I am new and this is my first post. I agree, Motorola phones are horrendous. My father has a RAZR that he got in November, and he's already ready to get rid of it. I don't blame him in the least.

honestly, i don't remember them ever making great phones. my first cell phone was an analog motorola brick. though limited, i thought it was ok and i figured charging it every 4 hours was normal. then i got my mom a nokia 100 and was amazed at how ignorant i really was to quality in a phone. the nokia was hands down superior in every aspect. the only thing the brick had going for it is that it was a traditional candybar flip (which was highly popular form factor at the time)

it's now about 10 years later and nothing has changed. if the first phone you buy happens to be a motorola (let's say a razr), the form factor usually wins you over and you get used to all it's little bugs and quirks. as soon as you step away and try a different phone, you begin to ask yourself "why the hell did I deal with all the nonsense of that crap phone?"

i've been a cellular dealer since 1996 and i've seen many a moto phone in my day. it seems they value looks over quality and most likely will not change that marketing strategy any time soon.

i always hear complaints of motorola phones, especially the Razr's! too much software issues

I'm looking forward to the Moto Maxx...when ever it arrives

I thought the Startac was a phone ahead of its time. I still have a T720, and it's still a workhorse. BTW, the e815 is still my favorite phone.

your all right. there older phones are good and some of there kinda old phones are OK, but all of these new phones like the razr and even some of thier new normal sized phones are just crud. I think ill stick with nokia, samsung, lg, or se

motorola has turned into a fashion phone co. form over function.

Several hear rant for Nokia and I'll agree 10 years ago Nokia's felt good and solid in the hand but as of late anything I've picked up at Cingular-Verizon from Nokia felt like it came out of a Cracker-Jacks Box.

Also any reviews/feedback of the New Nokias always fall short...

Posted by: MountainBikerMark

Nokia no longer makes their own handsets for Verizon and it shows.

Posted by: experiment626

None of VZW current "Nokias" are actually made by Nokia. They're Pantech rebadges.STAY AWAY Nokia does have some nice CDMA phones like the 6265 and the 6275 but they will be discontinued soon as Nokia leaves the CDMA market.Actually their lower-end GSM phones like the 6101,6102,and 6030 don't feel well built either. It seems Nokia only puts their full effort into building higher end phones.

As a previous Cellular Technician with Rogers in Canada I have to agree with you!

Most of the Motorola phones lack quality. I recall a few incidents where I sent out a motorola phone to get repaired, only to have it come back with either the same or a different problem. In terms of reliability and performance as well as speed of repairs and reliability of repairs (when necessary) Nokia was the best performing.

Moto did really well in the early days of cellular and many of their analog phones still work without any problems. When digital came along Moto dropped the ball.

.

Are you talking about the Nokia/Pantech phones or the high-end Nokia/Nokia phones?

I just got a motorola Rizr z3 from t mobile. Not only is it not available in black (instead a electric blue) the user interface is VERY outdated and UGLY! I previously had a samsung t 809 slider which had nicer graphics and better response time. When I push any of the buttons on my RIZR it takes sometimes 1.5 seconds (no joke) to get through! How I took for granted my old samsung and previous phones (nokia, lg) basically motorola's software and user interface (at least for this z3 rizr) BLOW!
