Anyone know where I can get an s40 with latest firmware in the US apart from Siemens and ebay, and how much it would cost? Which service proiders will be getting it?

Cingular will officially introduce S40 probably in 1 to 2 months. You can buy it in every Cingular PCS store or Best Buy at that time. At this moment, you can only buy the non-US version of S40 from ebay or the US version from Siemens USA web site.
Or, if you are living in LA, there are a lot of Chinese cellular phone stores selling the European version of S40 (firmware 2.10).
